The DoC has announced when the Great Walks huts for the 2019/2020 Great Walk season are available for booking. Bookings for New Zealand Great Walks huts fill up fast. The DoC spreads the bookings out over four days to reduce server load due to the number of people that try to book the huts the moment the schedule is released.
